20110315 17:30 [NEWS ON SCHEDULE CHANGE]

  • All of tutorials and meetings on Thursday and Friday ARE CANCELED because of worse traffic condition on weekdays. Please contact and to refund the tutorial fee (100% refund).

  • Paper sessions on Saturday and Sunday including a banquet and a dinner WILL BE HELD. The time table will be changed and the start time will be around 12:00 on Saturday. The details of this chage will be available on the time table page by Thursday, so please check it. If you want to cancel your registration, please contact and as soon as possible. We refund 50% of your registration fee.

20110315 07:00 [IMPACT OF EARTHQUAKE ON THE CONFERENCE] At this moment, the organizing committee is still planning to hold the AsiaBSDCon 2011 this week as originally planned. However, several tutorials and talks will be canceled due to absense of the speakers. We will make an announcement within March 15 about the details of the schedule change via announce@ mailing list and Twitter account @asiabsdcon.

AsiaBSDCon is a conference for users and developers on BSD based systems. The next conference will be held in Tokyo, in 17-20 March, 2011. The conference is for anyone developing, deploying and using systems based on FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, DragonFlyBSD, Darwin and MacOS X. AsiaBSDCon is a technical conference and aims to collect the best technical papers and presentations available to ensure that the latest developments in our open source community are shared with the widest possible audience.
